In terms of specifications : This is not Windows 7, iOS, nor Android 3.1 tablet, HP TouchPad comes with its own OS called HP webOS 3.0 ! For me, even this HP webOS 3.0 works vert well there are still disadvantage from using standalone OS. Unlike iOS (Apple), Android (Google), Windows 7 (Microsoft), HP webOS 3.0 is from HP which is specialize in hardware not software, I think the essential about these days tablet is networking and application online store which I believe a big big company of those 3 can establish it in the end. But I still have doubt in HP if they want to create entire new media and online store just for a one single product ? Or HP have a big plan in their mind.

HP TouchPad Wi-Fi comes with 9.7 inch capacitive touch screen, Adobe Flash enabled, front-facing camera and microphone for a live video chat application from HP …. In terms of price, HP TouchPad Wi-Fi considered a mid price tablet. It almost at the same price range with IPad 2.
My final verdict on HP TouchPad Wi-Fi pre-oder : I think if you are considering on getting one of the tablet, Toshiba Thrive 10.1-Inch 8 GB Android Tablet AT105-T108 could be more interesting choice.
